Just in case you didn’t know whom you should be admiring, Kidglue.com came out with their list of Top 10 Role Models of 2011, so ignore your own thoughts and listen up to what they have to say.
The list seems to have been compiled with a very simple formula – famous teens that don’t get hounded by the paparazzi for doing bad things are considered role models. In other words, you won’t be finding Demi Lovato or Lindsay (no more Lohan) on this list.
Miranda Cosgrove starts us out at number ten. When’s the last thing you read anything bad about her? That’s why she’s here.
Taylor Swift is number nine. She has a habit of making hit songs that bash her ex-boyfriends, as well as critics in her latest single, but she’s managed to avoid becoming a target of the mud-slinging.
Number eight is packed pretty tight because it has all three members of the Jonas Brothers in it. They’re squeaky clean in the public eye and associated with various charities that do a lot of good. Makes me wonder why they didn’t rank higher.
Amanda Bynes is in seventh place. While she used to be strictly anti-party; Amanda is now striving to show that it’s possible to go out and have a good time without getting carried away with it.
Ashley Tisdale grabbed the number six spot with her Suite Life co-stars, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, keeping her company at number five. This trio is what Disney has in mind when it comes to wholesome family entertainment.
Raven Symone keeps the Disney symbol flying proud as she claims fourth place, exhibiting a positive public image while continuing to further her career.
The number three spot is Justin Bieber remains scandal-free, despite his fascination with the color purple and Selena Gomez.
Speaking of Justin’s main squeeze, Selena managed to take second place, possibly managing to beat out her boyfriend because she’s a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
