Selena Gomez Does it Like The Classics in Official Cover Art of "Bang Bang Bang"

 As release date of her new album "When the Sun Goes Down" comes closer, Selena Gomez took to her Twitter to announce that her song called "Bang Bang Bang" is coming out soon. Along with the release announcement, Selena Gomez revealed the cover art of the track. 

A throwback to the 60's, the official artwork depicts a picture of Selena Gomez wearing a rather-retro long-sleeved sweater. She's tilting her head as she gives a sultry look at the camera and kneels on a rug with her hands on her lap.

"Bang Bang Bang" is expected to be released for digital download on June 7 as part of iTunes countdown of the upcoming album, which is due in the U.S. on June 28. Exactly a week later, another new track "Dices" reportedly will follow before her upcoming single "Love You Like a Love Song" is made available for purchase on June 21.

A music video for the forthcoming single was filmed on the beach of Malibu in Los Angeles, CA on May 19. Selena used horses which were painted pink for the video shoot. Soon after the set pictures made their way out, the Selena Gomez was slammed by Pink who is an avid supporter of PETA. 

I cant wait for the New Single. We can say that Selena Gomez Will Bang the whole world and her critics with her her new song Bang Bang Bang.

Following their appearance at the Billboard Awards this past Sunday, love birds Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez flew off to Hawaii for a romantic holiday.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber in Hawaii!!

Ooh La La what do we have here. After a smoochie award in the Billboard Music Awards they have retired them self to a much needed Romantic break. 

Selena and Justin were spotted gazing each other in utter love at the Maui Airport in Hawaii on Monday afternoon (May 23).

Shortly after landing in paradise, the couple checked into their hotel and hit the beach. Justin, in board shorts, and Selena, in a fuchsia bikini were hand in hand as their entourage followed behind in tow as they took a stroll to the sand. 

Glad they are spending time with each other as clearly long distance relationship are not very satisfying.Both have been working nonstop, and we love that they are becoming more open with their relationship without giving too much away.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber share a KISS at Billboard Music Awards!!

They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but on Sunday night, pop culture lovers everywhere were treated to a festival of debauchery and fun at the Billboard Music Awards, which were held in Sin City and broadcast live on ABC.

There were two kisses that will certainly have people talking for days. When Britney Spears took the stage with Rihanna for their sexy performance of "S&M," the two shared a kiss. Of course, Spears isn't new to onstage girl-on-girl lip-locks, having shared one with Madonna back in 2003. On Sunday, Spears also took the stage with Nicki Minaj, but no spit was swapped during that other girl-power performance.

Perhaps a more surprising kiss occurred when Justin Bieber kissed girlfriend Selena Gomez after it was announced that he won the award for Top New Artist. Although he didn't mention her name in his speech, according to Aceshowbiz.com, Bieber later praised his lady love in the press room, saying, "She's amazing." Bieber took home five other awards Sunday night.

Beyoncé, honored with the Millennium Award, received taped tributes from Bono, First Lady Michelle Obama, The-Dream, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga. As memorable as her performance was thanks to some eye-catching visuals, killer dance moves and that barely there outfit, her shout-out to Jay-Z certainly stood out. "I love me some Jay-Z," she said, after calling him her "best friend."

Bey also thanked those who have been in Destiny's Child, including founding members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson as well as Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams; Rowland and Williams were in the
crowd cheering their girl on

Justin Bieber was spotted back in the arms of girlfriend Selena Gomez!!

He only finished his mammoth world tour on Wednesday night in Tokyo but Justin Bieber couldn't wait to get back to his lady.

Justin Bieber was spotted back in the arms of girlfriend Selena Gomez last night as the couple took in an intimate concert in Costa Mesa, California.

Sitting side by side and holding hands, the romantic pair watched musician Ernie Halter perform at La Cave.

Ernie was the writer of Justin's song Come Home To Me, which Justin jumped on stage to perform with the singer-song writer half way through the show as a proud Selena sang along from the audience.

Justin then rejoined Selena at the candle-lit table and they sat cosily in the booth to watch the rest of the show.

According to one audience member, Justin then introduced Selena to Ernie as his girlfriend after the show.

Ernie was clearly blown away by the impromptu duet tweeting, '@justinbieber great meeting u &@selenagomez tonight. Def a night to remember.'

'Thank you for the encouragement & for singing with me.' 

'@selenagomez you and Justin are so sweet. Pleasure meeting you both. I saw you singing along to my songs. Made my night that much better :)' he also wrote.

Justin returned the message, tweeting, '@erniehalter thanks for the night. Glad we could surprise u. U r the real deal. Congrats to u and the wife.'

Selena Gomez vs Pink ???

We love Selena Gomez and we love Pink. So the last thing we wanna see is these two gals fighting.
But Selena and Pink did put up a fight.
Why? Read on to find out...

"If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video," Pink tweeted yesterday. "Shame."


It doesn't appear that Pink knew who was shooting the video, but it appears it was Selena for her new single I Love you Like a Love Song. Selena's rep tells us, "A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."


She was on the beach yesterday with a film crew, a hottie costar evoking a bit of Jesus, as well as two lavender-colored horses.


We're still waiting for comment from Selena but sounds like if they followed the rules (and we have no reason to believe they didn't), the horses were well taken care of. The American Humane Society's guidelines for painting and using makeup on animals includes the use of nontoxic products and spot checking for allergic reactions before production, among other things.


Perhaps Pink, a hardcore animal rights activist and supporter of PETA, is against using makeup of any kind on animals. "Artists," she tweeted, "should be more aware and responsible for their actions."
"There are no safe ways to paint a live horse or any animal," 


If we know our Selena, we're sure she and her team were more than responsible while using the animals for her video.


Pink eventually found out it was a Selena's video. "oh lord, THAT'S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go," she tweeted this afternoon, adding that Gomez "fans are angry with @pink."
That certainly doesn't change anything. "whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER'S," Pink tweeted, "i won't stop speaking out about animal cruelty.i've taken responsibility in the past,so should she."

Selena Gomez New album Name is Now When The Sun Goes Down!!

Selena Gomez's upcoming studio album with The Scene is no longer titled "Otherside". Selena Gomez changed it to "When the Sun Goes Down", and has unwrapped the CD by tweeting the picture which will be featured on its front page. 

"I wanted to be the first to give ya'll a sneak peek of my upcoming album cover for #WhentheSunGoesDown out June 28!" Selena wrote. 

Wearing a pearl head-piece and glossy pink lipstick, the singer looks stunning in her fur outfit. Sporting a bob wig with blunt bangs, she reclines in her throne. 

The first single of the album has already been embraced by music fans since March. A Spanish version of the song is currently being prepared and will likely be released soon. On Monday, May 2, she shared to her FB friends, "Recording the spainsh version of Who Says :) Dices, que soy imperfecta." 

Talking about the song, she once said, "This song is such a great message for my fans, and it really touched me when I heard it, and I thought it would be perfect for them. When I heard it, I feel like my fans need this song right now. Especially with Twitter and Facebook, it's just its really negative for me. ... Basically it's to the haters. It's to the people that try to bring you down." 

After the album is released, Selena will go on a headlining tour. Speaking of what she plans for the upcoming traveling show, she gushed, "I want it to be a big rave. A G-rated rave. I want it to feel like a party. I'm going to do different covers and I just want it to be really fun and just a big party. We're going to do a Britney [Spears] tribute."

Selena Gomez talks about Who Says and Music on VEVO!!

The adorably sweet Selena Gomez was featured in a VEVO interview recently, where she talks about a variety of topics, from her songwriting process to her upcoming summer tour with the Scene.

 A couple of highlights from the sit-down interview were when Selena shared the inspiration behind her latest single ‘Who Says,’ and who her biggest musical influences are.

When asked about her song ‘Who Says,’ Selena went on to explain why that song is the “most meaningful song that [she has] ever recorded.” 

Selena tells VEVO,

 “The message is extremely positive and it has a a lot of heart and it inspired me when I heard it. Priscilla Renee who wrote the song told me a story about the inspiration she wrote for the bridge.’”

“There is [the line] ‘who says you’re not star potential / who says you’re not presidential,’” Selena continues. “When President Obama was elected as our president, there was a huge news thing that they were doing and they asked a little boy what it meant for him that Obama was president and he looked into the camera and he said, ‘Because that means I can be president one day.’ And when she was telling me that story, it kinda just made me reflect on my fans and when they tell me they want to be a singer or be on Disney channel. It just felt like it was such an empowering feeling.”

Selena also went on to chat about which artists have had a big impact on her life. 

“Most recently, I am obsessed with Bruno Mars. He inspires me in everything he does. His style of music, his style in general, the way he performs, the way he carries himself. I just think he’s a really strong artist. I’m very excited he’s getting all of the recognition he deserves.”

However,Selena is also inspired by two very specific female artists from two very different times.

 “I love Ella Fitzgerald, [she's] my favorite singer ever. So she inspires me because she’s got such a beautiful voice and she doesn’t really add a bunch of things — well she can’t because that was a long time ago,”

Selena says. “But she didn’t have Auto-Tune, she didn’t have any of it, so it was just the voice and I loved that, it was very powerful. And then there are artists like Katy Perry, who isn’t afraid to be herself onstage.”

Katy Perry Writes a Song for Selena Gomez new Album!!

Selena Gomez has spoken about a song on her next album 'Otherside' which Katy Perry gave her. This Album is going to be Electrifying  

'That's How I Like It' is written by the 'Firework' star and is described by Selena as being "Very cheeky and very Katy". Elaborating further to Dose.ca, Selena said:

"Katy Perry gave me a song that is very cheeky and very Katy, which I’m really excited for everyone to hear."

Adding: "It’s called “That’s How I Like It.” It’s really funny. It’s about how a woman’s going to defend herself in a relationship, like, “You’re going to cook dinner for me, I want you to bring me my food. Massage my feet.” And basically it’s very woman-empowering, so it’s very, very fun, it’s very upbeat."

Selena also spoke about a song on 'Otherside' that was co-written by none other than Britney Spears.

"It’s called “Whiplash.” She wrote most of the song with two co-writers I went in and recorded the song with."

Asked if the track is anything like Britney's album 'Femme Fatale', 

Selena said: "I don’t think I can go anywhere near as insane as that record is, that record is so good. It’s a different version of it. It is still very techno and dance-y, but it’s a different version."

Selena Gomez on her last day on the sets of Wizards Of Waverly Place!!

The teen star, Selena Gomez has burst into tears. It is not the reason that her boyfriend, Justin Bieber has done something. The reason that Selena Gomez shed quite a few tears was while she shot the final scenes of her hit TV show, ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’.

Selena Gomez said that it is bittersweet and she obviously cried a lot. She added that it is really, really hard. She became a Disney star for playing a cute girl role on the Disney channel along with her three siblings who are training to be wizards in the New York City. She told that they were called all in together, as they were used to be called separately. She quoted that she just held on to them and she was really depressing.

Selena Gomez said that the cast had a party on Sunday and they dances and watched a blooper reel and goodbyes were exchanged between them. She was given a special souvenir and she took her wand and has cast her spells for the last four years. She added that it is in a little box in a frame and hopefully she’ll be able to hang it up in her house.

Selena Gomez said that she would never want to do anything to make her fans uncomfortable because, they are extremely loyal and they have been with her for the past five years. She added that she just want to choose the roles that the fans can all see and all kind of grow in her and it really makes a sense.

The season 4 episodes of ‘Wizards’ are airing on Family Channel. The network is planning a Selena Gomez marathon on 15th June 2011. Selena will host the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, where Lady Gag and the Black Keys, Avril Lavigne and the Bruno Mars are scheduled to perform.

Well i will surely miss Wizards of Waverly Place and i am sure everyone Selenator will.

Selena Gomez and The Scene to Perform at Good Morning America!!

Selena Gomez and the Scene will be joining the line up for Good Morning America‘s summer concert series. They will be joining the likes of Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. American Idol‘s contestants will also be singing in the series. It will kick off on May 27th.

This is big news for Selena and her band! It is a great honor for any star to do this series, let alone someone who is a Disney star. Selena is crossing over to the top 40 nicely, this is even more proof of that. I hope we can see more of her success in crossing over into mainstream pop.

Do you think they pick the best of the best? 

I think they pick out current stars, which works out well for their ratings. I would love to see some older bands perform on the series, but who ever is current and hip seems to be their picks.
