Selena Gomez at the VMA Pre show!!

Selena Hosted the MTV VMA pre show and without a doubt it was a success.

Justin Bieber came into picture again when he kissed Selena while she was interviewing her. Below is the interview.
"I'm here with the one-and-only Justin Bieber," Selena said when she introduced the singer with a smile. "Who are you wearing? Can you please talk about that?"
"I have my snake," Justin said, displaying a live pet reptile in his hand. "I have red pants and cheetah shoes."
"What's your snake's name?" Selena expertly followed up.
"My snake's name is Johnson," Justin responded.
"You're up for Best Male Video," Selena continued. "I wanna know — you're up against Eminem and Bruno Mars — do you feel a little nervous at all?"
"You know, I'm just excited to be in the category with such amazing people," Justin said of his fellow nominees. "I'm just happy to be here."
"Rumored to be performing is Jay-Z and Kanye [West], and I know you like them both," Selena continued, adding a bit of her Bieber expertise to the conversation. "Are you excited to see them perform?"
"Very excited," Justin said. "I heard that it was kind of a last minute thing, but I'm really excited."
"I'm excited to see Beyoncé too," Justin said with a grin.
"Good,"Selena said, clearly pleased with their work.
"Thank you so much. Thank you for hanging out, babe," she said to Justin, as Justin leaned in to plant a sweet kiss on Selena's cheek. 

Selena Gomez also met her child hood best friend Demi Lovato at the black carpet.

The show was an utter success with fans screaming.

Selena came in a Black dress! Quite surprising as Mandy doesn't likes Selena wearing black.

Selena Gomez credits Taylor for her Strong Faith!!

We All know that Taylor Swift and Selena are bff (Best friends forever).

This week it’s Selena talks about Taylor, and has explained to Top of the Pops how the two help each other with problems, including tough break ups.

"Every problem I ever have is healable by Taylor Swift.

"When Taylor was going through a hard time breaking up with Joe Jonas, we'd make each other playlists. I'd send her some girl-empowering music and she'd send some back.” Selena said.

Justin Bieber Mom likes Selena Gomez!!

Selena Gomez has already shared the fact that her mom approves of her beau Justin Bieber, but it seems as if Bieber’s mom feels the same about Selena. Pattie Mallette praised Selena on her Twitter account!

On her official Twitter page, Mama Bieber wrote, “@taylorswift13 & @selenagomez r amazing role models. Thk u both4 caring about a generation enough 2 speak life in2 them! #GodBlessYou richly.”

We certainly have to agree! Both Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift promote “love yourself and others” attitudes, inspiring teenage girls all over the world to embrace their inner beauty and to be confident and caring. Both girls are kind, sweet, and respectable, and they are just what the pop world needs right now in terms of being great role models for young fans.

Justin Bieber skips Wedding to be with Selena Gomez!!

Justin Bieber skipped the hyped Kim Kardashian wedding for what, to be with Selena Gomez.

There had been a lot of talk lately about whether Justin will go to the wedding even though Selena was not invited?

Justin gave the answer with style. He skipped the wedding to be with Selena during her We Own The Night tour and then went to an Amusement Park in Pennsylvania, went to the mall and also played basket ball. As reported by Hollywood Live and Gather Celeb News.

They surely seem to enjoy each other company and like we all are always saying they are the Romeo and Juliet of the teens.

Selena Gomez also spared time to meet her fans at the Dream Out Loud stall.

Selena Gomez will Host the Mtv VMA Pre Show!!

With the already star studded VMA (Video Music Awards) the only thing that was missing is now filled.

Selena Gomez is all set to host the pre show of the Mtv VMA! She will host the show on Sunday 28th August in front of Nokia Theatre Los Angeles.

When interviewed by Mtv she portrayed her happiness.

Selena said "I am very excited to be a part of the 2011 VMA's! After all of my years watching the VMA's, the pre show has always been one of my favorite parts. It is a true honour to be hosting from the black carpet this year."

Mtv personalities as well as artist Cobra Starship will be co-hosting the show with Selena Gomez.

I cant wait to see the pre show.

Selena Gomez never went to a Club.!!

Selena Gomez is pretty pleased with the fact that she's had four number one hit songs, yet she has never been inside a club. 

It's refreshing, isn't it, to hear of such success without the "wild child" effect that accompanies so many celebrities and their claims to fame? 

According to Hollywood Life,  Selena Gomez hasn't been arrested, she hasn't made a fool of herself in public, and she hasn't been drinking illegally in any nightclubs. Too bad the same couldn't be said for some of today's other young entertainers. (YOU ROCK SELLY)

She explains to channel 96.1 when she was on tour "I've had four number one club hits and I've never stepped foot in a club!" 

She further added "It's kind off funny, but it's really sweet. It's kinda cool. So maybe one day I'll be able to hear it."

In addition to avoiding the clubbing scene, Selena Gomez is noted for saving her money and spending. But when she does she does it in a resp onsible manner.

"I'm actually not really allowed to 'blow it away' because my mom and my managers are like kind of managing me," Selena says. "So they help me and they guide me."

These attributes certainly tell fans and their parents that people like Selena Gomez is a wholesome entertainer for their kids to follow. And it shows the young fans that you can still be cool and not act like a complete fool.

So congratulations on those four number one hits, Selena, but even more congrats on the fine example you set and the clean and healthy lifestyle you promote.

Selena Gomez breaks up with Justin Bieber?

Selena Gomez may have broken up with Justin Bieber as she or may be referring to an old boy friend, has vowed never to change herself for a guy again.

"I wasn't myself for a year. I think that was really damaging. I felt like it was me who was always trying to be perfect for him," contactmusic.com quoted Selena.

"Everyone around me hated him but I didn't listen. I think I had to go through it because now I'm the strongest I've been. I dare someone to try and change me again," she a

Selena also admits that she lost her sense of fun until her romance with Bieber was over.

"I always dressed nice. I don't think he ever saw me in sweatpants - and I love sweatpants. I'd always be well-mannered and go to his favourite restaurants or whatever. 

There was a point where I lost myself completely. I didn't smile as much, I didn't laugh as much. I wasn't a goofball. I didn't get up and dance like I usually do," said Selena 

"And when that one ended, I didn't know where I was. But I got it back and was really happy. My family was happy to have me back," she added.

Selena Gomez Planning on a World Tour!!

Selena Gomez is planning to take ‘We Own the Night’ tour around the world and also making a movie. Its gonna be so awesome and fans all around the world will love it. 

Now, she is planning to take her career to other level. She said that, they are planning to do some world tours. She also added that, they have been even booking some dates for a world tour, which she is very excited about.

Selena Gomez also said that, after completing her world tour, she will be staring another movie. However, she is not sure, which one she would start with, as they have got few projects under development in her production company. (13 reason why is not included)

Selena has already played couple of shows in South America and one in Europe for ‘A Year Without Rain Tour’ with her group The Scene. After seeing those tours, it sounds like, the world tour would be more expansive and longer.

Selena Gomez a Presenter in the MTV VMA'S 2011 !!

After presenting the Mtv Movie Awards and co-hosting the MMVA she is all geared up to be a presenter in the Mtv Video Music Award.

The VMA'S will air on 28th of August, although Selena is not nominated for any of the nominations the Mtv guys have lost it or her video's are too good to be nominated.

Selena now a days takes part in every award ceremony directly or indirectly.

On July 1st we informed you that Selena Gomez was nominated for the Imagen Award.


Well guess what she bags another award!


She was awarded for her hard work in Wizards of Waverly Place for the Best Young Actress in Television. (Not a surprise at all)


Selena was thrilled to be at the ceremony, held on August 12 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles — she even tweeted after the ceremony, “Thank you all for coming out, I love you guys!”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Statue!!

 

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been immortalized by their new sculpture depicting them as Adam and Eve; the sculpture was created by Daniel Edwards. 

The sculpture depicts the teenagers almost entirely nude, with a Canadian maple leaf and a Texas lone star covering their most intimate parts.  

The sculpture will be unveiled at Dallas's New Fine Arts, near  Selena Gomez's hometown, at a time yet to be announced by Cory Allen Contemporary Art.

Titled Justin and Selena as One, it features the naked couple conjoined at the torso, each seeming to emerge from the other's rib.(like depicted in the bible)

Together, they have three legs, sharing Selena's right leg as she appears to lead the younger Justin toward 'Eden'.  

The couple are being led by an amorous Canada goose and Texas armadillo. 

Edwards said his creation 'should be considered for installation at Canadian Embassies around the globe as a symbol of Canada's prowess in the areas of art and commerce.'  

He added: 'I believe Justin and Selena would ultimately choose Canada for their Garden of Eden, because Canada's Medicare and AAA credit rating make it easier for young couples who may find themselves in the family way.' 

Edwards' spokesman Cory Allen said: 'Justin and Selena joined together, symbolizes the great harmony between neighbouring countries Canada and The United States.

Well Edward you should have known that Selena herself says that Justin is not the "ONE"

Selena Gomez Glamour Magazine Interview and Photoshoot!!

She has already had a successful career that has spanned a decade.

But even Selena Gomez admits to feeling insecure and pressured to conform in Hollywood.

Selena Gomez talked candidly to Glamour magazine about how she deals with being a young celebrity while modelling the fall's hottest beauty trends.

When asked by the magazine if it is hard being young and a Hollywood star, she responded:

 'Yeah, you have this pressure [to fit in] and you want people to like you. I try my best to be a good person and be the best I can be.'

She takes inspiration from her peers, and become close with her recent Monte Carlo co-stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy. 

'I was nervous and intimidated because they are older and had worked on movies before, but they were the best girls I could have been paired up with! They were so sweet and took me under their wing.'

Selena's platinum selling song Who Says, off her new album, contains the lyrics 'Who says you're not star potential?' and the actress admits that she can relate to that having been told that on several occasions. 

'I had someone tell me that today,' she claims.'And when I was 11 years old, I had a grown woman who was a casting director tell me that I was not strong enough to carry the lead in any project. Now I’m doing things that I love, and I’m working really hard. I never want to play the victim or anything, but of course everybody deals with it.' (That women will be dying of shame right now)

Selena says that being true to her Disney fan base is one of the most important things to her as her career progresses. 

'That’s my goal! Disney and my fans have gotten me to where I’m at, so I would never want to do anything that would offend them. I’m going to get older and turn into a woman, but right now I hope I can make projects that everybody is able to go out and see.'

Her constant use of social networking sites will help her with this. 

'I love that I can stay connected with my fans and be able to tell them what’s going on—their opinions are so important to me. But at the same time, it’s very weird. I think the Internet can be a great thing but also really evil. Something can instantly hurt your feelings.'

With the fame comes sacrifice but she claims she wouldn't change her life and the attention it brings.

'Sure, but I think it would be selfish of me to say that, because I asked for this life. I understand that’s part of the job. I just put my head down and continue to walk forward.'

Some of the negative attention brought to her has been because of her relationship with Justin bieber. 

'I’m 19, so I feel like everything that I’m doing right now should not be taken too seriously. I should be able to have fun and enjoy where I’m at! So I don’t want to spend my time hiding or worrying about all of that.'

Yet the star has been threatened, on several occasions by the Bieber fans. (IDIOTS)

'Yeah, I’m human, so of course certain things sometimes hurt. I just laugh at it,' she says.

Seriously guys why?

Selena Gomez at the TCA!!

The 2011 Teen Choice Awards took place Sunday at the Gibson Amphitheatre, where a plethora of awards were handed out in six genres: movies, television, music, summer, fashion and—most important of all—miscellaneous.

The host of the 2011 Teen Choice Awards (TCA)  was Kaley Cuoco. 


Selena Gomez, of course was belle of the ball, taking home Choice Comedy TV actress (Wizards of Waverly Place), Choice Group (as part of Selena Gomez & The Scene), Choice Single ("Who Says") and Choice Love Song ("Love You Like a Love Song").

Selena Gomez like the billboard awards locked lips with Justin Bieber. YET AGAIN.

She even performed her single from the album "When the Sun Goes Down" i.e. I love you Like a Love Song! She even met up with her best friend since she was 7 yes Demi Lovato

Justin Bieber gave girlfriend Selena Gomez a bottle of his own fragrance (someday) as a gift.

Justin Bieber is surely turning out to be a "romantic" boyfriend but Selena Gomez admits she doesn't wear his present every day.

Selena said: "Yeah, he is romantic. He gave me a bottle of his new perfume the other day. I'm not really a one-fragrance kind of girl though. I like all kinds.

"I really love Summer of Love by Anna Sui, it smells so good."
