The 18-year-old singer and actress — who’s currently dating Justin Bieber — likes living with her folks close by, even if it does mean she doesn’t always get to be alone with her beau.
“I know I am 18 now and technically I am adult but I still live with my parents. And I like it that way,” Selena said.
“I love having them right there. I love their company and I like knowing they are there at home just in case something happens.
“I like having them around and they get on with all my friends. Being at home is just nice and that’s how I want it to stay.”Selena recently revealed how she came to meet Bieber.
“Uh, almost, like, two years now. His manager called my mom, who’s my manager,” she said.
Selena has also confessed she was “hurt” by Justin’s fans who criticized her via social networking site twitter, but has her fans and family who keep her strong.
“It’s hard. It hurts, it really does. I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong. I’ve been best friends with him for a very long time,” she said.
“It does hurt my feelings a lot but I try not to focus on it. I have a strong family and great fans.”
