Selena Gomez & the Scene to perform at Puyallup Fair on Sept. 12

Selena Gomez & The Scene with Allstar Weekend will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Puyallup Fair's 2011 Concert Series, presented by Columbia Bank.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 9 through www.thefair.com or by phone 888-559-FAIR (3247). The new phone number will be staffed daily, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center box office at 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on April 9, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Seats are reserved and include Fair gate admission.

With a platinum single, two No. 1 Billboard Dance Singles, and two gold-selling, top-10 debuting albums to date, Gomez has firmly made a place for herself in the international music arena. With hit single, "Who Says" under her belt, her future looks long and bright.

She is currently in production of her hit Disney Channel original series "Wizards of Waverly Place." In this Emmy Award-winning show she portrays Alex Russo. Selena has starred in television movies:  Another Cinderella Story, and Princess Protection Program. She made her starring theatrical film debut in Ramona and the Beezus.
