Why is everyone comparing Selena Gomez and Rebecca Black????

Some sites are saying that Selena Gomez and Rebecca Black are the same. One site even gave five reasons why they are the same. We felt we should give five reasons why Gomez and Black are not the same. 

Here are our five reasons why Selena Gomez and Rebecca Black are not comparable. 

1. Selena Gomez is more talented than Rebecca Black.

2. Selena Gomez is beautiful and angelic and Rebecca Black is just cute.

3. Selena Gomez has the real Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black has the Justin Bieber doll

4. Selena Gomez has a major label record contract and Rebecca Black does not.

5. Selena Gomez is famous and Rebecca Black is infamous.


We felt the need to keep going...

6. Selena Gomez can sing and Rebecca Black can not. (she has the most shrieked voice i ever heard. People cant stop listening to "Who Says" and on the other hand people have pleaded to stop "friday")

7. Selena Gomez can write lyrics and Rebecca Black can not.

We could keep going on forever but we figured what's the point? You get the idea.

There is no comparing Gomez and Black. The fact that people are still talking about Black is unreal. It really is true that you don't need talent or skill to get media attention for your music. All you need is the willingness to humiliate yourself. In an age of YouTube, Twitter and tabloid style websites that will post anything, everyone thinks they can be a star.
