Selena Gomez is Nominated for the Imagen Award!!

Selena Gomez is among the nominees for the 26th Annual Imagen Awards, which honor "positive portrayals" of Hispanics and Latino cultures in entertainment. 

The list of nominees was announced Wednesday at the Imagen Foundation headquarters in Pasadena, California, and the awards will be handed out at an Aug. 12 gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez, is nominated for "Wizards of Waverly Place" vies with Bella Thorne ("Shake It Up"), Victoria Justice ("Victorious") and Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer ("The Fresh Beat Band") in the category of Best Young Actress/Television.

We are quite sure she is gonna win this award hands down.


Selection of the winners is in the hands of "an independent panel of entertainment industry executives and Latino community leaders," the Imagen Foundation said.  

Wizards of Waverly Place will bag the award.
